WSPC Board of Directors

Flako.jpg

The Word Sound Power Collective Board of Directors span the globe, united by their Rastafari faith and a commitment to protecting the aged. Initially, the collective grew out of reasonings amongst the Rastafari community in the US, seeking a common vision. The collective rallied around the Rastafari Creed and focused on the protection of the aged as the most urgent need. What started as a small, grassroots collective has grown into a non-profit 501c3 organization and expanded to include worldwide support for Rastafari Elders. Funds are primarily collected through donations by both individuals and entities. Ras Flako Tafari has been instrumental in both spreading the word globally and connecting the global community with Rastafari Elders in Jamaica. The collective's Elder Advisor's act as ambassadors for the collective, highlighting Elder needs in Jamaica, Ethiopia and the US. The Board of Directors are responsible for ensuring the work of the collective is carried out with integrity.
